Understanding the policies for prescriptions and refills.

It is important for a physician to evaluate you when you have a medical problem before deciding if a prescription is required, and if so, which would best treat your condition. Please schedule an appointment if you believe you may require treatment.

Refills

Prescription refills are only authorized during regular business hours. When requesting refills of a current medication, please call your pharmacy with the prescription number. If you have no refills remaining, the pharmacy will call us with all the pertinent information. Please allow a minimum of one working day for us to respond to your pharmacy. If you need new prescriptions for mail order, you can request these at the time of a visit or call our office for assistance. Always remember to address any prescription needs with your provider during office visits.
