Preventive care

Physical examinations are often the best way to detect illnesses early or prevent future problems.

Coverage for preventive care varies among insurance plans.  It is recommended you check with your insurance carrier to determine your benefits for routine physicals. Medicare does not cover physical examinations although they may cover any problems that are addressed during the physical. This will significantly decrease the amount you will be responsible to pay.
